The device has a prioritization mechanism (PR) for cyclic determination of a bearing adjusting relevant operating situation according to a pre-determined stored priority distribution and for supplying a related priority operation situation signal (PB). A parameter determining device (PF) determines an adjusting parameter set (EPS1-EPSn) for bearing units (VLE1-VLEn) based on the priority operation situation signal. An adjusting device adjusts the oscillation characteristics of the bearing units based on the adjusting parameter set.
