The method involves generating an output voltage in a stationary condition by using an electronic control unit. The voltage is variable in amplitude and frequency such that amplitude of the voltage is optimized by a search process under evaluation of Hall sensor signals of hall sensors for rotor position detection with respect to minimum electrical power in an electronically adjusted and permanently activated synchronous motor. The voltage is modulated in certain adjustable speed ranges such that harmonic stimulation of a mechanical system e.g. exhaust wheel, is reduced by an attached engine.
