The method involves taking out of an aqueous fibrous material suspension and is split into fractions in the fine fraction (F) and the coarse fraction (G). The coarse fraction is handled in dispersion (1) without the fine fraction. The dispersion is carried by using a compression refiner. The coarse fraction are dispersed in a grinding area between two grinding surfaces (4,5) working together, in which a relative motion is a shift motion.
