Method for preparing an animal model (A) of the human immune system in a non-human mammal (B) comprising: (a) transplanting human stem cells (SC) with hematopoietic potential into (B); and (b) conditioning (B) with supernatant from a culture of human cell lines, cells and/or tissue, is new. An independent claim is included for (A) prepared by the new method.
