The cleaning device (110) has a cleaning zone (118) for cleaning cleaning goods (112) with a cleaning fluid, and a microwave drying device (160) for partial drying of the cleaning goods. The drying device has a waveguide for aligning microwaves to the cleaning goods, where the waveguide has a closable opening inside the cleaning zone. A cooling blower of the drying device guides the air into a source of microwave, and the air is warmed up and applied to the cleaning goods. An independent claim is also included for a method for the cleaning of cleaning goods.
