The drive rod lock for fixing or securing a drive rod (2) in an open position, with a T-form lever forming a key arm (3), a bearing arm (4) and a locking arm (5), has the key arm which is formed by the T-member of the lever penetrating a window in the front plate (1). The bearing arm has a cut-out through which protrudes a fastening member of a bearing bracket (7). The locking arm on account of bevels (9) has a locking end (10) spaced away from the rear side of the front plate, against which bears the locking step (8) of the drive rod in the open position of the lock.
