The sealing ring a sealing body (11) arranged and inserted into the base (15) of a recess (10) formed on the ring body (7). The sealing body is attached to a shaft (6), such that the shaft is sealed to the ring body by the sealing body. The sealing body has a sealing lip (14) arranged on the base of the recess. The circular sealing body has an even surface that lies close to the sealing lip. The sealing lip longitudinally extends in the axial direction of the shaft, and has contact area with even surface. The sealing body has a smaller radius compared to the output section of the sealing lip.
