The device has a coupling part made up of two identical coupling part halves and can be clamped at a square supporting profile and movable in the longitudinal direction of the profile. Tapped holes (116) in the region of two adjacent edges of the lower sides or outer sides and catch slots (118) in the region of another two edges of the sides are brought in into the lower and outer sides of the part for attaching an attachment part. An independent claim is also included for a connection of a cable channel at a square supporting profile of a table frame.
