Fixing rod (1) comprises elliptical sections arranged on a cylindrical rod and inserted via a dowel body (2) which is molded so that the elliptical rod section presses the dowel body thickened at two sites against the wall of a borehole on rotation about 90[deg] to fix the rod. The thickened dowel segments (3) are retained on two elastic sections of the dowel. Preferred Features: A guide, in which the dowel body rotates on the rod, is structured so that the dowel body is vertically shifted on rotating about 90[deg] and presses the objects to be fixed together.
