The holder has two bent flat bars to which a pipe is welded. The holder is inserted in a profile of a rolling shutter guide rail (4), such that box holding brackets rest on a window sill to hold a flower box. The box holding brackets are pushed onto a fixing rod. The holder is loosely attached to the fixing rod. The holder is made of brass, aluminum, galvanized steel and stainless steel. An independent claim is also included for a box holding a bracket resting on a window sill.
