The tape (10) has a digital unit with a digital circuit, a control panel (31), an earphone connection (32) and a memory card slot (34). A memory card is inserted into the memory card slot, where memory capacity of a main body (1) of the tape is increased by the memory card. The digital unit has a universal serial bus (USB) connection (33) for a USB-connector. The USB-connector charges a current supply unit (20) e.g. rechargeable battery, and edits audio data to be stored.
