The armoring has an explosive layer (1) and an explosive body (2), which are triggered after receiving a command signal for interrupting a projectile. A computer (6) is provided for receiving status signals for its processing and for delivering command signals. The explosive layer and the explosive body are arranged for interrupting an approaching projectile, before the projectile reaches the object. A sensor, which is designed as a proximity sensor delivers the status signals to the corresponding computer, when the projectile approaches.
