The invention concerns a motor vehicle ignition switch comprising a coil frame (1) made of a material allowing through a magnetic current and comprising a perforated base allowing through a mobile core (3), a support flange for a fixed core (2) and an axially oriented cylindrical portion, called crimping portion, extending axially beyond the flange to fix a cover (6) by crimping. The invention is characterised in that the coil frame (1) is made of three components: a transversely oriented base (12), an axially oriented outer tube (13) including the crimping portion (13') and an axially oriented inner tube (14) housed inside the outer tube (13) and the outer tube (13) is fixed on the base (12) and extends, in the direction opposite to the base (12), in axial projection relative to the inner tube (14) including the flange (14').
