The method involves applying a layer of polymerisable resin (RP) on a surface of a support (S). Natural cotton fibers or calibrated cellulosic artificial fibers having a final titer of 1.7 Dtex and a length 0.3 millimeter are projected on the layer. The layer is polymerized to fix the fibers on the support. Pigmented ink including pigments and a water dispersion binder is deposited on the flocked surface of the support using an ink-jet printing technique, where the binder is partially replaced by a multifunctional agent. The deposited ink is dried and fixed on the surface.
