The unit has a module forming a container (1), inside which a treatment room is arranged, including a wall presenting a main access opening for patients. A unit is detachably fixed to a central medical care structure (2) e.g. radiology center, such that the access opening is arranged relative to an access provided in the central structure through which the patients are moved, in a fixed position of the treatment unit. An independent claim is also included for a central medical care structure for detachably receiving a medical treatment unit.
