The system has a telephone platform (1) directly accessible via a telephone network from a telephone terminal (T) and communicating with a conference platform (2) for telephone linking of participants of a telephone conference. A conference controlling module (32) communicates with the telephone platform to lead to the conference and triggers, following the occurrence of a predefined event, via the telephone platform, automated processes of telephone linking of predefined list of participants associated to the event. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a protocol for activation of a telephone conference using an automatic telephone conference system (2) a hands free communicating accessory for the implementation of the activation protocol.
