Ball hardness testing device for parallel shaft transmission`s shift rail, has ball hardness testing unit with ball hardness testing cartridge associated to rail, and centralized ball hardness testing unit associated to common drive shaft

The device has a ball hardness testing unit with a ball hardness testing cartridge (8) associated to a shift rail (4), and a centralized ball hardness testing unit associated to a common drive shaft (1). The testing units are dimensioned so as to disassociate a dog (3) from a shift finger (2) before coupling teeth of a sliding gear in a pinion. The finger contacts with the dog, under the thrust of the centralized ball testing unit, after the teeth contact with the pinion. An independent claim is also included for a parallel shaft transmission.
