The installation has an X-ray table (1) permitting controlled displacement of a receiver (3) e.g. film, and an X-ray source (G) defining the focus (P). The source is mounted with a capacity of pivoting pendular with respect to the table. The pendular motion of the source is associated and related to the receiver position for establishing successive blocks. The radiation beams emitted by the source for each block are directed in the same direction without opposition of images. A standard measurement unit, after taking the blocks, corrects the images based on measured enlargement on the image. The X-ray source (G) while being mounted conserves always, in the same horizontal plane, the focus (P) at a constant distance (F) from a reference plane (PR) of the X-ray table.
