Prosthetic implant for the shoulder with a support element having a support and sliding surface able to cooperate with the joint head of the implant and the anatomical socket of the shoulder blade

A glenoidal prosthetic implant for the shoulder joint comprises a hemispherical convex joint head (1) cooperating with a support and sliding surface that has a humeral implant fixed in the humeral diaphysis. The head has some fixing arrangements with an independent support element (4) able to be fixed at the level of the anatomical socket. The support element has, going beyond a support and fixing surface (4a) with the anatomical socket and from its lower edge, a ledge (4b) constituting a portion of a sphere able to cooperate with the head, along the same diameter, and with the pillar of the shoulder blade.
