The method involves providing an object of a sub-image of an image and forming a map of binary bits of the object. The map is transformed into a transformed binary bits map, if the number of bits presenting a binary value is larger than the number of bits presenting another binary value in the map of binary bits, such that the number of bits presenting the former value is lesser than that presenting the latter value in the transformed map. A compression rule is determined from two most significant bits of a section of consecutive bits in the binary bit map or transformed binary bit map.
