Fire-proof methacrylic composition comprises a methacrylic polymer at 15-25 parts, preferably 19-22 parts and a fire-proofing agent comprising a phosphorus compound (I). Fire-proof methacrylic composition comprises a methacrylic polymer at 15-25 parts, preferably 19-22 parts and a fire-proofing agent of a phosphorus compound (I) of formula ((R 1)(R 2)P(=O)O -) m(M) m+or ( -O-P(=O)(R 1)-R 3-P(=O)(R 2)-O -) nM xm+. R 1, R 21-6C alkyl and/or aryl; R 31-10C alkylene, 6-10C arylene, alkylarylene or arylalkene; M : magnesium, calcium, aluminum, antimony, tin, germanium, titanium, zinc, iron, zirconium, cerium, bismuth, strontium, manganese, lithium, sodium or potassium; and m, n, x : 1-4. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of superimposing comprising coextrusion, hot compression or multi-injection of a layer comprising the composition and a layer comprising thermoplastic polymer; and (2) a multi-layer structure comprising the layers and optionally an intermediate layer between the layers.
