The method involves transmitting from a user terminal to a digital set top box (2), a content transmission request indicating an identity of the terminal and content. The set top box receives the request and transmits the content indicated in the request to the terminal, based on the identity. The terminal receives the content and processes the content for permitting the visualization of the received content on a visualization interface. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a digital set top box (2) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing steps implemented by the set top box.
