The assembly has a container containing a cosmetic composition to be applied on a human body. An applicator (3) is separated from the container and has an application surface for treating a skin region. The surface comprises a material having a thermal behavior such that when the surface is heated to a temperature the surface does not cause a thermal injury to the skin during contact of the surface with the skin for fifteen seconds. The surface has a temperature higher than or equal to thirty degrees Celsius after the application. An independent claim is also included for a method of non therapeutic and cosmetic treatment of a human body region.
