The counter has a belt conveyor placed in an end of a channel made of an unbreakable transparent plastic. An article reader has a barcode reader for reading and recording a barcode of articles for payment of the articles, where the article reader is placed at the center of the conveyor. A gate is placed at an end of an article arriving zone and is opened after recognizing the payment by a client. A video telemonitoring system permanently monitors the client. A client case allows the client to interfere with a course of the conveyor and to call an associate via an intercommunication system.
