The support has internal and external armatures (2, 3) respectively connected to an upper cross head and a cradle. A set of links is provided for connecting the armatures and is made of a composite material. A vertical stop (15) in a form of parallelepiped is housed between two ends (18) of the internal armature, and another vertical stop (16) in a form of prism is housed in the space created between two support arms (12). The support arms and the vertical stops permit to support vertical stress toward high and toward low with respect to the center of the support.
