The closed firebox is remarkable for its rear air inlet, bottom-mounted fireplace and side walls with refractory blocks (7), (9) and (5), (6), a primary air circuit formed of two symmetrical branches, each opening through a lateral refractory block (5) or (6) through orifices (38) located above the base plane of the hearth (1) and a secondary air circuit formed of two symmetrical parts grafting on the primary air circuit and along the side refractory blocks (5) and (6) to end with a distributor sending the heated air in a falling sheet against the rear face of the glass part (3) by the intermediate of a curvilinear baffle (36) .This invention is of interest to manufacturers of closed fireplaces.
