PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stock information confirmation system, capable of appropriately performing stock confirmation of a commodity for which only a sample commodity is displayed in a store to provide the commodity to a customer.;SOLUTION: When a customer puts a commodity card 60 attached to the sample commodity close to the purchase card issuing device 10, an IC tag reader/writer 15 of the purchase card issuing device 10 reads a commodity identification code recorded on an IC tag or barcode attached to the commodity card 60, receives an allowable stock quantity 432 in a stock database 43 through a network 50, and issues a purchase card 80 when the allowable stock is present. When the customer brings the purchase card 80 to a register counter, a register system 20 performs accounting processing, and changes a stock quantity 417 in a stock information database 41. The allowance stock quantity 432 is periodically updated and managed using the stock quantity 417 or information for expiration date of the purchase card 80 in a purchase card hegemony information database 45.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
