PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste disposal site which can be reduced in building cost by reducing the land reclamation scale and the number of structures, which is made confirmable against water leak from the side walls and has a high technical reliability of reclaimed land, and which can be standardized in design and repeatedly utilizable, and to provide its land reclaiming method.;SOLUTION: In the waste disposal site, a bottom bed 5 and side walls 6 continuing it are made a rigid structure of a concrete or watertight asphalt concrete structure or the like, the top end 10 of the side wall 6 is built below the top end 11 of planed reclamation surface, and providing spaces between the side walls 6 and outer circumferential natural ground, thereby making the reclaimed land a unite reclaimed land of a fixed-shaped or tray-shaped self-standing container structure; and the waste disposal site is made a covered waste disposal site where a roof structure 8 is successively moved to the next unit reclaimed land accompanying the progress of the land reclamation.
