PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filler for electric discharge crushing which is packed in a groove or a hole formed in the surface of an object to be crushed and is prevented from leaking out of the groove or hole.;SOLUTION: In order to transmit the pressure generated by an electric discharge of an electrode apparatus installed in the inside of a groove or a hole 61 formed on the surface of an object to be crushed 60 to the inner face of the groove or hole 61, the filler for electric discharge crushing is a filler 42 for electric discharge crushing set in the inside of the groove or hole 61 in a manner of surrounding a discharge part of the electrode apparatus and is characterized in that the filler is made of gel.
