PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic-organic composite material which can provide a longer lasting charge-separated state.;SOLUTION: The inorganic-organic composite material is formed from a quinolinium ion derivative represented by formula (I), a stereoisomer or tautomer thereof or one of salts of those and a zeolite, wherein R1 is H or an arbitrary substituent and at least one of Ar1-Ar3 is an electron donating group. The composite material is used for products such as a photocatalyst, a photosensitizer, a dye, an oxidizing agent, a reducing agent, a battery, a dye-sensitized solar cell and an organic EL element by making use of a longer lasting charge-separated state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
