PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to visually check his or her own musical performance during music practice.;SOLUTION: In a music practice system, when the user plays music, a metronome function B, Ca notifies beat timing Tb with the cycle Tc predetermined in accordance with user setting, volume information Vp of time-varying continuous musical performance sounds made by the user is acquired (E), and the shape of a reference sound graphic Wr having the height Ar and the length Tr respectively corresponding to the volume value and time length to be continued is determined (Ab, D, F, H). Then, the determined reference sound graphic Wr is displayed at a position on a screen corresponding to the beat timing Tb of a metronome and, according to this display, a musical performance sound waveform Wp based on the volume information Vp of the user's musical performance sounds is displayed (H, G, Cb) on the same screen.
