PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a public relations data processing method for a cash handling system, a cash handling system, a cash handling machine, a public relations processing terminal, and an automatic teller machine for saving labor by feeding public relations transaction data in the public relations processing terminal into the cash handling machine via the automatic teller machine and processing it automatically. PSOLUTION: The cash handling machine 20, which is installed in a financial institution office to manage a plurality of transaction data on transactions in the office, comprises a storage means 25 for storing the plurality of transaction data in the office, a communication means 26 for establishing data communication with the automatic teller machine 30 receiving public relations transaction data on public relations transactions of a public relations staff visiting customers, and a control means 27 for acquiring each piece of public relations transaction data sent from the automatic teller machine 30 via the communication means 26 and updating the storage means 25 according to each public relations transaction data.
