PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure quality of a requirement definition without depending on experience or knowledge of a system designer and to objectively and quantitatively verify validity/accuracy/coverage of the requirement definition. PSOLUTION: The system designing support system is provided with a requirement definition support device 30. The requirement definition support device 30 has a requirement system dictionary 34 holding information specific to a target system, stores an inputted requirement with unique information, analyzes the stored requirement by morphological analysis to divide it into 5W1H, searches the requirement system dictionary 34 by using the divided word as a key, and based on the information of synonyms, verifies whether words used in the requirement fluctuate or not. The requirement definition support device 30 associates requirements with each other based on a related word and information of a relation type to verify adequacy of the requirement, analyzes semantic dependency between the requirements to store an analysis result as a related requirement along with the relation type in a requirement storage part 31, and transmits use case information generated based on the information of 5W1H stored in the requirement storage part 31 to a requirement model display part 14.
