A duty command Ton1 is then corrected toward a decreasing direction. That is, the duty command Ton1 is corrected in the direction of enhancing the voltage boost rate of a converter. The correction value computing section 66-1 outputs positive correction values, when a voltage value Vb1 becomes smaller than the lower limit VbL1. A duty command Ton1 is then corrected in the direction of increase. That is, the duty command Ton1 is corrected in the direction of reducing the voltage boost rate of a converter.
