PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute the correction of gamma characteristics and to improve diagnosing efficiency. PSOLUTION: Gradations when a display part 33 displays images on a display screen are successively changed, each of the luminance of the images displayed in the successively changed gradations is measured, and then a first gamma characteristic is calculated on the basis of the measured data. Gradations when another display part 33a different from the display part 33 displays images on a display screen are successively changed, each of the luminance of the images displayed in the successively changed gradations is measured, and then a second gamma characteristic is calculated on the basis of the measured data.
