PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both functions for efficient display concentric to a necessary point and free reference of context information around the point. PSOLUTION: A retrieval means 4 extracts a bilingual example according to an input sentence 3a. A matching rate calculation means 5 calculates a matching rate between an original sentence or a partial string within the bilingual example and the input sentence 3a. A linkage means 6 sets low-order link information to a bilingual example of the original sentence and high-order link information to a bilingual example of the partial string. A result display means 7 displays a bilingual example 7aa with the highest matching rate, an extension button 7ab, and a degeneration button 7ac. When the extension button 7ab is selected, an extension/degeneration display means 8 displays a bilingual example 8a corresponding to the extension button 7ab.
