PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a protein becoming a cause of Kawasaki disease or a protein becoming its risk factor, and aim at the utilization of the same.;SOLUTION: This method for estimating a morbidity for the Kawasaki disease or the risk of onset of the same, comprising to measure the expression of serum paraoxonase/allyl esterase and/or their gene expression in a blood specimen of a subject, a kit for evaluating the morbidity or risk of onset of the Kawasaki disease and a method for identifying a substance having an effect for treating and/or preventing the Kawasaki disease are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
