PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely reproduce micro deformation state before destruction, and to set a spring constant in a discrete model without depending on any experiment or the like.;SOLUTION: This method comprises a first step for preparing a discrete model of an object; a second step for replacing it with the finite element model of a tetrahedra 1 element with the center of each distinct element of the discrete model as a node; a third step for calculating the rigid matrix of each tetrahedra 1 element of the finite element model, and for extracting a matrix showing a force/displacement relation between the nodes of the tetrahedra 1 element; a fourth step for calculating the force/displacement relation between the distinct elements assuming that the discrete model is a truss model in which the centers of the respective distinct elements are connected by the spring, and for calculating a matrix showing the force/displacement relation between the distinct elements; and a fifth step for calculating a spring constant minimizing the residual sum of squares of each item of the matrix showing the force/displacement relation between the respective nodes of the tetrahedra 1 element in the third step and the matrix showing the force/displacement relation between the discrete elements of the fourth step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
