WIDENING STRUCTURE OF SHIELD TUNNEL, SHIELD TUNNEL SEGMENT, AND WIDENING METHOD FOR SHIELD TUNNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily construct an extended tunnel while preventing deformation of the tunnel by providing a new tunnel lining for widening before removing a segment in a cut and extended part without pushing out a segment for widening into the ground by using a special shield machine.;SOLUTION: An end part of the segment 8 for widening is fitted into a recessed part 3 for joining the segment for widening formed on outer faces of segments 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b of two parallel shield tunnels 1, 2 and these segments are joined so that the linings 11, 12 for widening are extended between both of shield tunnels and a section between both of shield tunnels is cut and extended up to the linings for widening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
