PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system capable of forming a character string out of characters in a plurality of images in view of a problem wherein a character string cannot be formed out of characters existing in the plurality of images.;SOLUTION: An image input means of the image processing system inputs images interlocked in time series. A first character extracting means extracts characters from a first image input by the image input means, and a second character extracting means extracts characters from a second image which is an image after the first image, input by the image input means. A difference detecting means detects the difference between the characters extracted by the first character extracting means, and the characters extracted by the second character extracting means. A dividing means divides the difference detected by the difference detecting means, in accordance with the number of images existing between the first image and the second image.
