PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea with high effectiveness and high patient compliance.;SOLUTION: This invention provides a method and a device to curing patients with obstructive sleep apnea with the use of negative pressure in the oral cavity. The device of the present invention comprises a pressure reducing unit to control and maintain the negative pressure in the oral cavity, and a tube one end of which is connected to the pressure reducing unit for generating negative pressure in the oral cavity, and a mouthpiece connected with the other end of the tube, which is used for sealing the patient mouth by just fitted inside the mouth so as to prevent the leakage of air from the oral cavity. By applying negative pressure in the oral cavity, patient's soft palate and ambient soft tissues are pulled toward the oral cavity, and also patient's tongue is pulled toward the upper palate.
