PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve data processing using real-time data with high reliability.;SOLUTION: The magnified image observation system includes a magnified image observation device and a computer. The magnified image observation device includes: a set information adding means for adding image data information obtained by an image obtaining means as the set data to the image data; a synchronous transfer means for synchronously transferring transfer data with the set data added to the image data from the magnified image observation device to the computer; and an asynchronous transfer means for asynchronously transferring the set information other than the image data from the magnified observation device to the computer. The computer includes: a communication means for performing data communication with the synchronous transfer means and the asynchronous transfer means; a data decoding means capable of separately extracting the image data and the set data out of the transfer data that is synchronously transferred from the synchronous transfer means; a display means 4 for displaying the image data decoded by the data decoding means; and a calculating means for calculating based on the image data and the set data as necessary.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
