DRUG FOR ANALYZING WATER TRANSPORT FUNCTION OF MEMBRANE PROTEIN IN BIOTISSUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug which is desirable for the acquisition and analysis of the in vivo water transport function of a biotissue and information about abnormalities in such function and can safely and highly precisely analyze the water transport function of a membrane protein existing in a biotissue.;SOLUTION: A drug in which the constituent water, which is a substrate for a membrane protein, is water labeled so that it is higher than natural water in at least either of ¹⁷O and ¹⁸O contents is provided for the purpose of safely and highly precisely analyzing the water transport function of a membrane protein. Measurement by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging, or mass analysis comprising using water labeled so that it is higher than natural water in at least either of ¹⁷O and ¹⁸O contents enables the acquisition and analysis of the water transport function of a membrane protein in a biotissue.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
