The templet structure which is defined beforehand is used, various methods in order automatically to form the structural clinical report that by mapping doing in the imaging data set of the organ, (seems like CT or MR scan) is offered. Templet or knowledge structure describes the general structure of the tubular organ, until recently has been based on the knowledge which it is related to the acceptance possible range of the specific organ or measurement or the quantity for the interest territory. The organ of interest is divided from original picture section. In the execution example of this invention, the centerline which corresponds is calculated, the framework of the tubular organ is drawn up. Knowledge structure (the templet), mapping it is done in the organ data on the basis of the centerline which is extracted. Because measurement of desire is defined in the templet, actual measurement is calculated because of structure automatically. Although that kind of measurement furthermore is refined with environment of 3 dimensions, forms the constitution clinical report for another use it is used.
