PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine system to be associatively used with the hybrid final stage LP bucket 24.;SOLUTION: This system cools bucket tip part areas 20 and 24 during a low VAN windage loss state, and thereby, can realize a useful structure and an efficient result of using a hybrid blade. An axial steam turbine has a rotor, an inside ring 52, an outside ring 50, the final stage including a diaphragm having a plurality of nozzles 60 extending between the inside ring and the outside ring and a bucket 24 of one row fixed to the rotor on the downstream side of the diaphragm and rotating on the final stage diaphragm, and at least one injection assembly 44, 56, 58, 66, 68 and 70 injecting a cooling medium toward the vicinity of the final stage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
