PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a lateral force to be generated in the tire of a vehicle.;SOLUTION: This automobile 1 performs state estimation by a Kalman filter based on a state equation representing the behavior of front and rear wheels as a primary delay system to be driven by disturbance for estimating the lateral force of front and rear wheels. Therefore, it is possible to acquire a tire lateral force as the solution of the state equation which is established with respect to the behavior of the tire.
