PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roman shade, a reset cord and a method of attaching and detaching a curtain fabric at the roman shade where it is simple, safety, speedy and efficient to attach and detach the curtain cloth, especially to attach it, in the case of laundry.;SOLUTION: The curtain cloth 2 is detachably mounted to a suspending rod 1. Vertically moving cords 9 suspended from the rod 1 are put through a plurality of guide rings 19 set in lines between the upper and lower ends of one side surface of the curtain cloth 2, and the lower ends of the cords 9 are fitted detachably to the lower end of the curtain cloth 2 so as to vertically extend and reduce the cloth 2 by pulling or returning the cords 9. Engaging parts 21 which can pass through the guide rings 19 is provided at the lower ends of the cords 9, and engaging parts 27 which the guide rings 19 can pass through is provided at tips to form the reset cord.
