PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document retrieval device dispensing with a setting change according to update of a document by a manager or complicated operation by a user.;SOLUTION: A label adaptability calculation part 114 calculates adaptability when setting an attribute value included in a retrieved document as a label of the document, a label determination part 115 selects the attribute value of a smaller number than the number of the attribute in order of high adaptability as the label, and stores label information showing the selected label. A requirement processing part 102 reads the label information and transmits the label information to a browser 2 to make the browser 2 display the label.
