PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug injector capable of miniaturizing the whole device by miniaturizing an adjusting means of a sensor in the device for injecting the drug in the body of a patient based on a value measured by the sensor.;SOLUTION: This drug injector is provided with a syringe 2 storing insulin, a motor 11 quantitatively guiding the insulin, an injection needle 7 injecting the insulin guided from the syringe 2 by the motor 11 in the body of the patient, the sensor 8 measuring the glucose concentration in the body of the patient and a microcomputer controlling an injection speed or an injection timing of the insulin to be guided by the motor 11 based on the concentration measured by the sensor 8. This device is so constituted that the sensor 8 and the injection needle 7 are dipped in the glucose of the known quantity and concentration, the fixed quantity of the insulin is injected from the injection needle 7 by the motor to dilute the glucose, and its concentration in the diluting process is measured by the sensor 8 to adjust the sensor 8.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
