PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program realizing an automatic accompaniment data generating method of easily generating automatic accompaniment data for a stringed instrument, and an automatic accompaniment data generating device.;SOLUTION: Fig. (a) consists of a rhythm pattern and a UI (user interface) capable of setting whether a sound is generated at each sounding time on six lines corresponding to six strings. On this UI, each "solid circle" indicates that a sound of the string is generated and each "circle" indicates that a sound of the string is not generated. The "solid circle" is changed into the "circle" by placing a cursor C on the "solid circle" and clicking on it. Based upon presence/absence information and the pitch of sounding which are thus set, accompaniment information of each string is generated at each sounding timing of a rhythm pattern. Fig. (b) shows that "C" is selected as chord information and automatic accompaniment data generated when settings entered into Fig. (a) as the rhythm pattern and presence/absence information on sounding are made are displayed in a score.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
